tl;dr – A sizable JW will open in Kentucky’s largest city.
Expected in 2027, the JW Marriott Louisville will be a rebirth of the city’s Fifth Third and with its promised sweeping views of the Ohio River, the hotel should inject a bit of luxury into Louisville’s hotel landscape when it debuts.
According to the development agency, Ghoman Group, the JW Marriott Louisville will have “418 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites designed for comfort and sophistication, as well as 15,056 square feet of flexible meeting and event space — including a stunning 6,043 square foot ballroom ideal for weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.”
Other highlights include “a signature rooftop bar that will provide breathtaking skyline and riverfront views, an outdoor patio connected to a high-end bar, and a luxury fitness center.”
The JW Marriott will also be centrally located – right downtown – amongst some of the existing flagship properties from other leading hotel chains.
