60-Key Four Seasons Seville Expected in 2027

Tl;dr – The brand’s debut should immediately reset the bar for luxury accommodations in the southern Spanish city.

Expected to be completed in 2027, Seville (Sevilla), Spain, will be the location of a new Four Seasons hotel. The hotel will remodel a historic property, the Generali Building, which is located in Plaza Nueva, in the heart of Seville’s city center.

The current plan is for between 60-65 rooms, though allegedly there’s room for up to 120 rooms, across the building’s five floors.

According to the development team behind the project, Blasson Property Investments, there will be some thoughtful redesigning of the historical property: ‘The common areas have been conceived as sophisticated social spaces, featuring open-air terraces and privileged views over Seville’s skyline, a proposal designed to captivate the most discerning modern traveler.”

As far as amenities, there will be a signature wellness area, featuring a range of rejuvenating treatments and facilities, and a fitness center. For dining, guests can expect a strong gastronomic showing, one that I wouldn’t be surprised if it rivals some of the better Michelin outlets elsewhere in Spain.

The luxury hotel scene in Seville is not super robust, though there are some bona fide gems. A favorite, particularly amongst points and miles enthusiasts, is the Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Seville. And then there’s the CoolRooms Palacio de Villapanés, which is an SLH property, but unfortunately not yet bookable through Hilton.

I’ll keep you abreast of updates to this project as they become available!
