Transfer bonuses, if you’re unfamiliar with them, are promotions that incentivize you to exchange one point of currency for another. As one of the most versatile ‘bank points,’ Chase Ultimate Rewards can be transferred to 14 travel partners. This current transfer bonus with Marriott might be a good deal if you’re seeking to top up your Marriott balance for an immediate redemption.
As you can see above, the bonus is structured to include an early-bird incentive. Transfers between June 15, 2025 and June 30, 2025 will receive a 65% bonus, and transfers between June 30, 2025 and August 15, 2025 will receive a 50% bonus.
It’s worth mentioning that Marriott habitually sells points throughout the year (usually with bonus between 40-50%, and Marriott is running one right now), so depending on your situation, it may make sense to purchase Bonvoy points directly through Marriott (via points.com) if you only need a handful. As Chase Ultimate Rewards can be deployed in many different ways, there’s a real opportunity cost to transfer them out when there are relatively frictionless alternatives. The current offer of 65% is the highest we’ve seen since last year’s offer of 70%, and the second highest I could find. Chase and Marriott partner up to offer these transfer bonuses one to three times a year.

- Click ‘Transfer Points’ and follow the prompts to complete the process.
