tl;dr – The French flag carrier now operates over 25 round-trips to Thailand weekly.
Air France kicked off a new route connecting Paris’s Charles De Gaulle Airport with Thailand’s Phuket International Airport. For travelers headed to Southern Thailand, this is a bit more convenient and bypasses a stop in Bangkok.

The route will be serviced by a Boeing 777. As far as the schedule, flights will depart Paris at 15:45. Flights leave from Phuket at 11:55.

I did find some decently priced award availability for this route, though you’ll want to mind the taxes and fees.
Through Air France, you can redeem 85000 Flying Blue miles for business class, plus $416.40 in taxes and fees. Air France typically allows you to pay the taxes and fees in Flying Blue miles (if you have enough) by using it’s slider feature.

In the event you’re sitting on a ton of Delta Skymiles, you’ll need 80,000 for business class, though you’ll also need to drop €608.
