Bilt Adds Qatar Airlines as Transfer Partner

Source: Bilt

Tl;dr – Bilt has added yet another transfer partner, Qatar Airlines, its third new transfer partner in the last month.

Bilt has been on a roll lately in terms of adding transfer partners. Over the last few weeks, two new travel partners have gone live on Bilt – Southwest and Japan Airlines (JAL) (Bilt is the only North American-based bank to have a direct points transfer partnership with JAL). You can add a third new partner to that list – Qatar Airlines. Let’s dive into it.

Qatar Airlines Joins the List of Bilt Transfer Partners

As of May 22, 2025, Bilt members can transfer points to Qatar Airlines at a 1:1 Ratio, meaning 1 Bilt Reward point equals Qatar Privilege Club Avios. Qatar Airlines famously uses the Avios currency as part of its Qatar Privilege Club. The Avios miles currency is used by several other airlines, most notably British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, and Finnair. Since three of those other airlines are already Bilt transfer partners, one has to wonder if Bilt has a Finnair announcement waiting in the wings (sorry). Avios are a versatile points currency, especially since you can transfer them among loyalty programs.

Some good uses of Qatar Avios include:

For as little as 70,000 Avios, you can fly to Doha in Qatar Airways business class.

Recent Qatar partnerships with JetBlue mean that JetBlue’s Mint business class is available on transatlantic routes for as little as 78,000 Avios.
