tl;dr – Hilton continues its global luxury push with a second Conrad in the Algarve.

Hilton recently announced a new beachfront resort in Portugal’s Algarve region scheduled for a 2027 debut. The Conrad Meia Praia Algarve will take root in Lagos, Portugal.

This will be the second Conrad property in the region. Notably, Hilton opened the well-reviewed Conrad Algarve in 2012.

Featuring 116 rooms and suites – all of which look out to the ocean, the resort will also have two distinct restaurants, a beach club, bars, several pools (both indoor and outdoor), as well as a spa and modern fitness center. The development will also include 21 branded residences.

Notably, last year Hilton also announced plans for a Waldorf Astoria in Marbella in 2029. Thus, once both the Waldorf Astoria and the Conrad have opened, Hilton luxury enthusiast can chart quite a fun road trip through Spain and Portugal’s southern coasts, bookending the trip at the two luxury properties.

I’ll post more about this property as it becomes available.
