tl;dr—Alaska Airlines just launched its latest points sales of 2025 (the second of the year) and the airline is offering a bonus of up to 50% when you purchase miles. If you've identified a good redemption using Alaska miles, this might be a good deal for you.

Through March 17, 2025, you'll receive a bonus of up to 50% on your purchase of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles. This could be a decent opportunity to up your Mileage Plan balance for a savvy redemption.

It's worth mentioning that Alaska Airlines is seemingly always selling miles. The airline offers many promotions to purchase miles throughout the year, so if you aren't a buyer here you'll likely have many more opportunities to do so in the coming months. Over the last few years, the best offer we've seen to purchase Mileage Plan miles has been with a 70% bonus (in March of 2024), so this current offer is a good deal off the mark.

Keep in mind that with the recent merger of Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, there are a few more ways to stack Alaska Miles. In addition to the traditional methods (flying on Alaska Airlines or a partner airline and crediting to Alaska, spending on Alaska credit card, shopping portals, etc.) you can transfer Hawaiian Miles to Alaska Miles on a 1:1 basis. Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines is a transfer partner of American Express so as a result, you can indirectly transfer miles from Amex to Alaska via Hawaiian.
