Targeted Hyatt Promotion: Earn Up to 90K Bonus Points with Your Hyatt Stays

Targeted Hyatt Promotion: Earn Up to 90K Bonus Points with Your Hyatt Stays
💡
tl;dr - There's a targeted Hyatt promotion that can help you earn bonus Hyatt points on top of what you'd normally earn for staying at Hyatt hotels. You can earn a total of 90K bonus points through this promotion.

You should check your inbox for recent emails from Hyatt, as there's a targeted offer floating out there offering World of Hyatt members the chance to earn up to 90K bonus points from stays. From time to time, Hyatt will send targeted promotions to some of its members, offering special deals, discounts, or offers to incentivize them to stay. Depending on your travel plans over the next few months, this deal could be a decent offer. Let's dive into the details.

The Latest Hyatt Targeted Promotion

From the 90 days after registration, you'll earn 5,000 bonus points after your first five eligible nights, then incrementally more bonus points for every 10 additional nights you stay at a Hyatt hotel, up to 45 nights. An 'eligible night' can be paid for in cash or with a free night award. Bonus points will be awarded as follows:

As you can see, the bonus points are staggered, and the biggest bonus, 25,000 points, is reserved for members who stay 45 nights throughout the duration of this promotion.

Note: You must register by March 9, 2025, and your 90-day clock starts immediately after registration.

Is this a Good Deal?

It might be. The 5,000 bonus points for five nights are not bad; it's easy money if you already have five nights planned. Hyatt redemption nights can be as low as 3,500 points per night, so if you hit the first milestone, you're essentially getting a free night at a Category 1 hotel just for registering and almost enough bonus points for a second one. If you're deep into the Hyatt game or can move more of your upcoming travel to Hyatt brands over a 90-day period (post-registration), you could rack up some valuable points. If you hit the 45-night limit, you'd be sleeping in a Hyatt hotel for half of those 90 days, but you'd also earn enough bonus points for 25 free nights at an off-peak Category 1, or almost a month's worth of free lodging - not bad. Of course, you could use those 90K points for a luxury experience instead and redeem them at some of the more coveted hotels in the Hyatt portfolio.

Keep in mind, that's there's an existing Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotions where you can earn 2x or 3x points on your stays. It would appear these are stackable.

How to Check if You're Eligible for this Promotion

This promotion is targeted, so if you didn't receive an email from Hyatt, you're likely not eligible. How do I know it's targeted? The email references this as an 'exclusive offer,' and when I clicked through to register, it gated me to this page: https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/targeted-offers/90kbp/success.html

Conclusion

Hyatt's latest promotion allows you to earn bonus points for every five nights you stay at a Hyatt hotel. It is a targeted promotion, though, so you're not eligible if you didn't receive an email.
