Indeed, it’s true. ‘La Pulga’ or ‘Leo’, for those of us who know him personally, owns the MiM Hotels chain, a boutique brand that includes six properties in locations across Spain and Andorra.
MiM Hotels recently struck a partnership with Spanish-owned Meliá Hotels, where all MiM properties will be managed by Meliá beginning November 1, 2025.
Of the existing MiM hotels, the Andorra property to me is most intriguing, mostly because I’ve been to Andorra once before as part of a Barcelona-to-Basque Michelin eating trip, and enjoyed my afternoon living up the spa culture.
While MiM Andorra isn’t in the mountains, it could be a solid crashpad where one can get some good food after a busy day hiking and soaking.
