tl;dr – Coming to the island of Kaua‘i this fall.

Hilton just announced its first Curio Collection resort on the Hawaiian island of Kaua‘i. The Hale Hōkūala Kaua‘i is scheduled to open in November 2026. As of now, reservations are not yet open but the property’s page is live on Hilton’s website.

The 210-room hotel is located only a few minutes’ drive from Lihue Airport.

For amenities, there’s a pool, fitness center, and what I imagine will be a big draw – the Ocean Course at Hōkūala, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course for any avid golfers.

It appears there’s just one flagship full-service restaurant on site, though off-site dining options at other nearby hotels and resort communities might be other viable options.

Other properties in the area included Marriott’s Kauai Lagoons – Kalanipu’u and The Royal Sonesta Kaua’i Resort Lihue.

Hawaii remains extremely popular among points and miles enthusiasts, particularly those with families. Given that this property is family-friendly, I assume it’ll quickly become a popular redemption opportunity.
