tl;dr – The debut of the Four Seasons will set a new standard for luxury in the city.
There’s an exciting update about the upcoming Four Seasons Cartagena, as the property is accepting reservations ahead of its Spring 2026 debut.

The Four Seasons boasts 131 guest rooms and suites. This is an interesting property. The footprint of the hotel actually comprises several different buildings – including a 16th century Franscican temple, a 1920s theater – and these differences have been incorporated into the room design. Of the 131 rooms, 27 are Spanish colonial-style, while the remaining 104 are contemporary rooms. Many of the rooms have private terraces offering views into the surrounding Getsemaní and the not-too-far-away Walled City.

As far as dining is concerned, there are eight food outlets.

When you aren’t out sightseeing, there’s a 24/7 fitness center, state of the art spa, and two rooftop pools.

Rates are on the more expensive end – particularly for Cartagena -, but as it is the Four Seasons, that’s to be expected.
