This one is hot off the presses. GHA DISCOVERY just announced a status match that is live through November 30, 2025. If you hold top-tier or near-top-tier status with any one of many loyalty programs, you can match to GHA DISCOVERY or even top-tier GHA Titanium. StatusMatch.com runs this promotion, and you’ll pay either $100 (Platinum) or $150 (Titanium). As part of the status match promotion, you’ll also receive some GHA DISCOVERY Dollars and the ability to earn double-tier nights from January 1, 2026, until June 30, 2026.
If you’re unfamiliar with it, GHA DISCOVERY is a loyalty program established by the Global Hotel Alliance. It includes over 800 upscale and luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, spanning 40 brands and 100 countries. Some prominent brands are part of the GHA portfolio, including Corinthia, Capella, Anantara, Kempinski, Patina, and Pan Pacific, to name a few.
Recently, I debated the merits of booking Anantara The Market Dublin through GHA or Leading Hotels of the World (I chose LHW). Earlier this year, I pondered whether GHA’s acquisition of Rotana, which offered its own status match, might result in a backdoor into top-tier GHA status. That’s all moot with this current deal, so long as you hold status and are willing to pay the fee.

- You’ll need to provide the details of your airline, hotel, or cruise line program status, and pay the associated application fee. StatusMatch will request evidence of your loyalty status with your designated program, and you may be required to provide additional personal details, such as a passport or driver’s license, to help us validate your information and eligibility.
- If approved, you should receive confirmation within three business days.
- Regarding the gifted GHA DISCOVERY Dollars (D$), GHA DISCOVERY Platinum status members will receive a gift of D$50. GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status comes with a D$75 gift. D$1 is equivalent to USD 1. To redeem your D$, you apply them towards your hotel bill at check-out.
- Note: While a successful status match automatically enrolls you in the Double Nights promotion, you can only earn double nights starting January 2026 and continuing through June 2026. Stays occurring this year won’t count.
