tl;dr – A must visit for any Pokémon fan!
Fans of the hit media franchise Pokémon now have a new stop on their pilgrimage tours to Japan.

Earlier this month, PokéPark KANTO recently opened inside the larger amusement park Yomiuriland. It’s the first permanent Pokémon theme park.
The amusement park is filled with rides, various experiences, a Poké Mart, and of course, a forest and town filled with over 600 model Pokémon (shoutout to you if you, like me, still thought there were 150).
Here’s the PokéPark advertisement video:
And here’s are a few images from early visitors:

I was just in Japan, checking out fun properties like the Patina Osaka, Waldorf Astoria Osaka, Conrad Osaka, and CUVÉE J2 HOTEL OSAKA by Onko Chishin. While walking around Osaka, I decided to visit a Pokémon Center to see if any worthy trainers were brave enough to battle.

Judging by the lines, it appears that Poké fandom is alive and well.
Visitors to Japan can purchase tickets here. (FYI – it appears that availability is released a few months out and predictably, is snapped up quickly).
