tl;dr – This will be one of the brand’s first three locations in India.

Hilton just announced a deal to bring its Waldorf Astoria luxury brand to Goa, India, in 2030. At the time of its debut, this property should be at least the third Waldorf Astoria in India. Hilton previously announced both the Waldorf Astoria Jaipur and Waldorf Astoria New Delhi. Hilton will also be opening a third Conrad property, the Conrad Jaipur, to complement the existing Conrad Pune and Conrad Bengaluru.

The 148-room beachfront Waldorf Astoria Goa will “offer sweeping, uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea.” Of course, there will be the Waldorf Astoria’s signature Peacock Alley, and guests can also expect several varied culinary outlets, “a rooftop bar, world-class wellness facilities, and amenities such as a luxurious spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, and swimming pool.”

Goa, if you’re unfamiliar, was formerly a Portuguese colony for over 450 years. The region is known for its unique Indo-European culture, including architecture, cuisine, religion, and dialect.

No renderings to post as of yet – this was just announced today – but I’ll circle back as more information becomes available.
