Tl;dr – Hilton recently debuted a new hotel in France’s capital city – the Sax Paris. The hotel has joined its LXR Hotel & Resorts brand.
Also home to heavy hitters like the Musée d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower, in April, the Sax Paris opened in Paris’s 7th arrondissement. It’s always great to see more points-ready options debut in Paris. Though it’s far from my favorite place to travel to, Paris is undoubtedly one of the most visited cities on Earth. Thus, a marquee opening from a major chain right in the heart of the city warrants attention.
The Sax is a 118-key operation located in a building dating back to the turn of the 20th century. Rooms range from standard King Sax to a three-bedroom suite, all of which lean heavily into the design. The rooms have some thoughtful connections to Parisian life. For instance, some of the mini bar’s offerings come from famed Parisian store – Le Bon Marche.

For dining and drinks, there are four total outlets: one full-service restaurant, SAX; a rooftop restaurant, Kinugawa, serving Japanese-Parisian fusion; The Garden, a ‘hidden’ retreat serving lunch and drinks poolside; The Galerie, a design-focused space reserved for special events.

The hotel also has a fitness center and a spa.

Points rates start at 110K Honors points per night and increase considerably based upon demand – I’ve seen nightly points rates at 3X that figure when pursuing the calendar. Cash rates start just below €400 and seem to peak at ~€1000.

LXR hotels offer the Pursuit of Adventure experiences, curated local activities that put a destination’s essence front and center. At the Sax, these options will include gourmet picnics, Eiffel Tower tours, and a Seine River cruise.

Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts is now up to 17 properties worldwide. LXR is Hilton’s highest-end soft brand, followed by the Curio Collection and the Tapestry Collection, LX.
