tl;dr – A sneaky points option for when the Park Hyatt Niseko is out of reach.
Hilton loyalists who both fancy Japan and enjoy winter sports have a new property to fulfill their wildest dreams.

The Green Leaf Niseko Village, situated at the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri, joins Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, one of the chain’s leading soft-brand portfolios. Like some resorts in the Niseko area, the property will only be open during ‘White Season’, so unfortunately, at the Green Leaf Niseko Village, you won’t be able to replicate my rogue summer adventures on the ski lifts at the Park Hyatt Niseko Hananzano.
What you will be able to do, however, is soak in a dope onsen. The Green Leaf Niseko Village boasts one of the area’s more picturesque natural onsens, as well as a Rotenburo (open-air bath). The greater Juhyo Spa also offers a range of treatments to help ease sore muscles from repeated runs down the mountain.

With 200 rooms and suites and direct ski-in/ski-out access, this property could be a great points-redemption opportunity where a fun family ski vacation may be possible for just the costs of your flights to and from Japan/Sapporo.

Goshiki is the hotel’s flagship restaurant, but notably, guests can access other dining outlets at the nearby Hilton Hiseko Village, as well as several other eateries in the Niseko Village Community.

If you end up making it out to Niseko and have the time, I’d recommend you book a spot at Rikka.
