Tl;dr–Searching for Bahia Principe Hotels on Hyatt’s website will take you away from the Hyatt website and take you to Bahia Principe’s site to view a hotel.
While doing some research for another article, I noticed a small quirk on the Hyatt platform. While Bahia Principe properties are searchable on the site, a result will take you to Bahia Principe’s website rather than a view of a specific Bahia Principe property housed within the Hyatt website.

When Can We Expect Full Integration?
I couldn’t find a source with a verifiable timeline, but my gut tells me that Hyatt will incorporate the Bahia Principe portfolio within the next month or two. Hyatt’s track record in shepherding all-inclusive brands is proven, whether with its homegrown brands, Ziva and Zilara, or those it’s acquired, such as Dreams, Sunscape, Secrets, (etc.) from Apple Leisure Group. As such, I’d imagine we’ll see the Bahia Principe properties come online before the start of the spring break and summer travel seasons, if not sooner.
What isn’t readily apparent is whether you earn points from bookings made on Bahia Principe’s site, provided you click through to the hotel page from Hyatt. I’d avoid booking there until the integration is complete to save yourself a headache in chasing down point earnings.
Conclusion
If you search Hyatt’s website, you might find that some all-inclusive hotels redirect you to the Bahia Principe website. There is no firm date on when that’ll be smoothed over, but I wouldn’t expect too long.
