tl;dr – Hyatt brings its upscale lifestyle brand to Portugal’s capital city.

Hyatt announced the opening of the Andaz Lisbon today, and this new property has the potential to be a solid one for points and miles enthusiasts. The property is slightly behind schedule compared to last year, as I first wrote about its planned opening for Q4 2025 (although even at that time, the earliest available reservations were for January 2026).

Located in Lisbon’s historic Baixa neighborhood, the Andaz Lisbon offers views of the Praça do Comércio and Tagus River waterfront, and the hotel is in close proximity to the vibrant cafés, charming boutiques, and dynamic nightlife the city is known for.’

The Andaz Lisbon will feature 170 guestrooms and suites, ranging from 236 square feet to 1,065 square feet.

There are two dining options – Luzzi: A Culinary Journey at Andaz Lisbon and the Andaz Lounge.

The property will include both a spa and a fitness center for guests looking to rejuvenate, refresh, and focus on wellness.

As a Category 6 property, you can book a free night for as little as 25,000 points. Cash rates seem to range from the mid-to-high €200s up to into the €400s.

This is part of Hyatt’s plans to increase its footprint in the buzzy Iberian Peninsula nation.
