Tl;dr – JAl supplements its existing Chicago service (ORD-HND) with another daily flight between Chicago and Tokyo’s Narita Airport.

Pretty cool news from JAL. The Japanese flag carrier will be adding another daily flight between Tokyo and Chicago, this time to/from Narita (NRT) airport. This news comes a few weeks after JAL established a partnership with Bilt – it’s only current transfer relationship with a major North American points currency provider.

The route will be serviced by a Boeing 777-300ER (same as ORD-HND) featuring the JAL Sky Suite 777, which at this point can be considered an ‘old classic’ of the JAL fleet.

If you’re looking to take things up a notch, recently, I spotted decent availability for JAL first class (bookable with American Airlines AAdvantage Miles) for select dates this summer, courtesy of seats.aero.
