tl;dr – A not-so-bad option that’ll give you access to the beautiful water at Grace Bay.

IHG officially opened Hotel Indigo Grace Bay today, which offers upscale accommodations near Turks and Caicos’ Grace Bay. The hotel isn’t beachfront but is only 4 minutes walk from the shimmering water. (Given the layout of the road, this is actually somewhat common for many resorts situated along Grace Bay.)

With just 56 rooms, the Hotel Indigo Grace Bay feels like it caters to ‘efficient’ getaways.

Or maybe quick stopovers in ‘Provo’ before you head elsewhere. If you’re headed to Turks and Caicos, have largely ‘done’ the Grace Bay area before, and plan on spending most of your time on another island like South Caicos (perhaps at Salterra, Sailrock, or maybe even South Bank), then the Hotel Indigo could be a good option for a short stint on Providenciales.

The hotel has one full service restaurant – Il Forno – and a coffee outpost in the lobby, called Brango Coffee.

Amenities include a pool, fitness center, bike rentals, and, of course, the nearby beach.

Rates at the Hotel Indigo Grace Bay during opening seem to be a bit higher than what will be the ‘normal going rate’.

A date in mid-March priced out at $674 or 120,000 IHG Rewards points .

One month later, the same standard king is $377 or 72,000 IHG Rewards points.
