tl;dr – There were some good ones to pick from but I’ve narrowed the list!
I’m grateful for the many wonderful travel experiences I’ve been able to enjoy this year. As the year closes out, I wanted to quickly rundown my top 5 flights. I’ll be releasing the full reviews of each of these flights as part of YATFEST in a few weeks. So stay tuned for that. You can check out my Top 15 hotel stays from 2025 here. Let’s do it!
5. Condor Business Class Airbus A330 FRA-PTY (Prime Seat)
Condor’s famed ‘Prime Seat’ is a bit overhyped and the German carrier offers a decent lay-flat, albeit, quirky experience.

4. Turkish Airlines Business Class A350-900 PTY-IST
Turkish Airlines business class was solid. Well above workmanlike, but not spectacular.
3. Starlux Business Class Airbus A330 TPE-CTS
My first Starlux experience wasn’t the longest flight (sub 5 hours) but the seat was luxurious and the food was solid.

2. EVA Business 789 VIE-TPE
I’d been wanting to fly EVA airways premium cabin for a long time now. (I’d only ever previously flown the carrier’s economy service). It did not disappoint.

1. ANA Business Class 787-8 NRT-MEX
I was one of only a handful of passengers in the entire business class cabin. Great food, service and a fun amenity kit.

And a special thanks to all of my readers this year. Happy New Year and expect much more to come in 2026!
