tl;dr – The 50 ‘Best’ Restaurants in North America.
The organization behind the World’s 50 Best List has had a busy last month. Recently, the organization released the bottom half of its World’s Best Hotels list, and just the other week, it introduced yet another dining list (for the first time), the 50 Best Restaurants in North America. This follows a theme of releasing ‘50 Best Restaurants’ lists in different regions around the world, to supplement its master list of the World’s Best Restaurants (1-50, 51-100).

Some quick thoughts.
Tons of places you expect: Le Bernardin, SingleThread, Atomix, Benu, Saison, Quince, Lazy Bear, Kann, and Atelier Crenn – no surprises there.
I’ve sat down at four of these places – Dakar NOLA (review coming soon!), Lazy Bear, Emeril’s, and The Four Horsemen.
Finally, shout out to the list makers for taking the “North America” part of this to heart. Cool to see Jamaica and Barbados making an appearance on the list.
