Tl;dr – Construction has already started on the new property.
Up-and-coming luxury hotel chain Pendry recently announced its newest project – The Pendry Nashville. Featuring 180 guestrooms and suites along with 146 Pendry Residences, the property, which is already under construction, will rise in Nashville’s trendy Paseo South Gulch neighborhood.
As far as dining and amenities, the hotel will feature the brand’s signature Bar Pendry, an all-day restaurant, a rooftop pool and bar, and a 24/7 fitness center. There will also be a writer’s room and library in addition to The Gulch skyline, a space offering guests sweeping city views.
Though I’ve never stayed at a property, I have long been intrigued by the Pendry brand. Pendry kinda fells like the Bizarro Langham, whereas the Hong-Kong based Langham does most of its damage in Asia and APAC, with only a few properties in the UK and the US, Pendry has a solid footprint across the States and is slowly starting to branch out elsewhere.
Nashville is quietly experiencing a boom of luxury hotels. In addition to the existing properties such as the Four Seasons Nashville, Conrad Nashville, The Joseph Nashville, A Luxury Collection Hotel, and The Hermitage Hotel there are also planned locations for the St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton, Edition, and Equinox brands.
Of course, while it’s not luxury, if you’re big into the honky-tonk game, you can always shack up at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, bookable on Marriott.
