tl;dr – This is the fifth Trailborn location.
Last year, Trailborn joined Marriott’s platform, allowing travelers to book stays at its outdoor-forward outposts. This is part of Marriott’s bigger push into outdoor-focused accommodations, a bona fide trend within the hospitality industry.

Fresh off the debut of its Grand Canyon property, Trailborn has just opened the Trailborn Jackson Hole. Located in the heart of Jackson, Wyoming, the Trailborn Jackson Hole is a ‘glow-up’ of the Snow King hotel, a property built in 1976.

The 203-room property is only a few minutes’ drive from the entrance to Grand Teton National Park.

Yellowstone is within reach as well.
Depending on your desired entry point, the property is 1.5-2.5 hours from Yellowstone National Park as well.

The property boasts two restaurants, the Old Timer Bar & Restaurant and the Mountainside Bar & Café, as well as a grab-and-go offering – The Market.

Amenities include access to Snow King Mountain, with ski-in/ski-out access, gondola rides, and the Cowboy Coaster just steps away. There’s also the Ember Lily Spa (including sauna), a bowling alley (I think?), an outdoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center, and bicycle rentals to explore the town and surrounding area.

Rates at the Trailborn Jackson Hole fluctuate wildly throughout the year. I’ve seen rooms as low as $189 and north of $1000. Points rates bottom out at 63,000 and peak at 101,000 (that’s good redemption value for the peak rates).

I’ve visited Jackson a few times and there aren’t too many upscale points properties in the area. There’s the Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa, which was closed for a long while and has since reopened. It’s an SLH property bookable through Hilton. Marriott also has an Autograph Collection property – The Cloudveil.
