Tl;dr – Announced back in 2023, the Palacio de Godoy will finally join Hilton Honors this fall.
Hilton continues to grow its global soft-brand portfolio with intriguing independent hotels. The global hotelier will soon debut the Palacio de Godoy Caceres, located in Caceres, Spain, to its Curio Collection. Caceres is in the western portion of Spain, just over 100 KM from the border with Portugal. Let’s take a peek.
Palacio de Godoy Caceres, Curio Collection by Hilton
Scheduled for a September 1, 2025, debut, the Palacio de Godoy has 72 guest rooms, including eight suites.
The hotel’s name leaves no room for interpretation – it translates to Godoy’s Palace – and is the palace Conquistador Francisco Godoy built for himself from the riches he ‘made’ while in Peru and Chile.
For dining, the hotel will have a signature combo restaurant and bar serving typical local food and drink, both indoors and on the hotel’s 1,000 square meter garden.
The rooftop terrace seems to be a big draw.
Guests can also enjoy a spa, fitness center, and an indoor pool.
Cash rates, at least near the opening date, are affordable. A base-level room is as low as €124, making the 50,000 Hilton Honors nightly redemption price a decidedly bad deal.
Caceres is a city that is up-and-coming on the international travel scene. The city boasts a solid dining scene, and there are several UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the nearby region.
