tl;dr – There are some solid values to be had here.
‘Atmos’ doesn’t do it for me. In fact, I hate it. I think ‘Dolby surround sound’ more than anything else. That said, I’m more than willing to put my angst aside for a good sale. And that’s exactly what Alaska Airlines has dropped.
Purchase Atmos Rewards with Up to a 110% Bonus

Through October 10, 2025, you can purchase Atmost Rewards with up to a 110% Bonus. As I outline below, this sale can provide some incredibly cost-effective opportunities to immediately redeem Atmos Rewards for bucket-list premium cabin travel to marquee cities in Asia, Oceania, and elsewhere.
Here are the key details:
- The Sale is live from 6:00 AM PT September 15, 2025, through 11:59 PM PT October 10, 2025.
- You may buy or receive as a gift up to a total of 150,000 points in a calendar year. Atmos™ Silver, Atmos Gold, Atmos Platinum, and Atmos Titanium members have no annual purchase limit.
- All purchases are assessed a 7.5% Federal Excise Tax.
- You may purchase and gift Atmos Rewards points in increments of 1,000 points, up to a maximum of 60,000 points, and in increments of 5,000 points, up to a maximum of 100,000 points per transaction.
- If you purchased the per-transaction maximum, you’d receive 210,000 Atmos Rewards points for $3,762.50 ($3500 miles + 7.5% tax recovery fee).
I don’t hold Atmos status, but I’m now thinking that even base-level Silver could be worth chasing just to be uncapped on annual point purchases. I’m a huge advocate for buying rewards points (and miles), and Alaska Airlines – even post-Hawaiian merger and through all of its recent changes – still has some great redemption opportunities for premium cabin travel.
Speaking of which…
Deals to Make You Squeal
Asia

Courtesy of seats.aero, I peeped availability for flights from North America to Asia using Atmos Rewards points and found some solid options. (BTW, these might still be live and bookable!).

Seattle to Taipei on Starlux (75,000 Atmos Rewards), Dallas to Seoul on KoreanAir (75,000), Dallas to Shanghai on AmericanAirlines (85,000), Los Angeles to Tokyo on both Japan Airlines (75,000) and American Airlines (85,000), and Los Angeles to Singapore on Singapore Airlines (100,000).
If you’re starting from zero Atmos Rewards, you could purchase 75,000 at a pre-tax cost of $1260.

If you really want to cruise in style to Singapore for some hawker fare, the pretax cost for 100,000 Atmos Rewards is $1680.

Which is still a big discount off the $6,374 cash rate.

And for what it’s worth, Alaska’s own service from Seattle to Seoul has solid availability this fall and will cost you 75,000 Atmost Rewards.

Oceania
If you prefer something more tropical, how about lie-flat to paradise? Black sand beaches and to-die-for sunsets?

French Polynesia and Fiji are both within reach and represent good values off the normal cash rate, if you were to purchase the needed Atmos rewards during this sale, and then redeem them for a reward fare.

If you’re starting from zero, 60,000 Atmos Rewards will run you $1015 (pretax) and allow you to book a lie-flat seat to Papeete, on Air Tahiti Nui.

Europe

For Europe, redemption rates start even lower – at just 45,000 Atmos Rewards points for lie flat business class service to destinations like: Ireland (Aer Lingus) with (yes, Dublin, but don’t sleep on Shannon, which puts you closer to Limerick and countryside excursions in Eastern Ireland); Paris and Lisbon on American Airlines; and Frankfurt on Condor Airlines.

As the taxes and fees associated with these reward fares are less than $20, you can cross the Atlantic and kick off your European adventures, in business class, for less than $850 (inclusive of taxes).

Not bad at all, my friends. The Atmost Rewards sales ends on October 10, 2025.
