tl;dr – Marriott has added a Luxury Collection property in the Lion City.
A few months ago, I wrote about The Laurus, an exciting upcoming property in Singapore. I’m circling back with an update as the property is now open and accepting reservations. I won’t rehash everything I covered in my first write-up, but I’ll call out a few notable things about the property.
First off, it’s an all-suite property – 183 suites to be exact.
For dining, the resort offers just one flagship restaurant – Laurus Table – though all-day dining options are also available at the lobby bar and pool. As this is in Singapore, I’m not surprised that the property isn’t dripping with on-site dining options, as many guests are bound to explore the culinary delights of the city.

There’s no shortage of upscale accommodations in Singapore, but it’s always good to have another option on points. I’ll look to check this one out next time I touch down on Singapore Air.
