tl;dr – Um, this is just as it sounds. Surprisingly, only minor injuries were reported.
Wild video out of Brevard County. On Monday night, a Beechcraft crashed onto I-95, right on top of a traveling vehicle. Here’s the footage:
According to reports, “a fixed-wing multi-engine Beechcraft 55 was attempting to make an emergency landing on the freeway when it collided with a 2023 Toyota Camry. There were two people aboard the plane: the pilot, a 27-year-old man from Orlando, and a passenger, a 27-year-old man from Temple Terrace, officials said.”
The driver of the vehicle – a 57-year-old woman – also allegedly escaped the incident with ‘minor injuries,’ and she was transported to Viera Hospital.
A few thoughts. This accident occurred at 5:45 p.m. I have no idea where the woman was coming from or headed to, but can you imagine coming home from a brutal day at the office and having…a PLANE LAND ON YOU?
“Yes, I heard the weatherman say it might be raining cats and dogs, but this is something NEW NEW.”
Once again, really great to hear there were minor injuries, but I also hope that if the driver gets any BS from insurance that she promptly starts tossing tables.
