tl;dr – I was born in the late 80s, but this is what I remember my first airplane ride looking like (except for the sepia undertones).
I stumbled across this photo of a Delta Airlines L1011 from the 1980s:
First off, shout to the gentleman? About eight rows deep on the right aisle (from the viewer’s perspective) seat, of the middle configuration. Is that Bill Gates using his time machine to travel back in time to experience common folk life?
I’m sure some Delta diehards will throw on this playlist and stare longingly at this photo for hours.
