tl;dr – Hilton’s luxury soft brand will join a growing list of high-end hotels coming to Turks and Caicos in the coming years.
Hilton recently inked a deal to bring on a new property in an exciting, popular tourist destination – Turks and Caicos. Scheduled for a 2028 debut, the AMARIS Grace Bay will join Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts.
As part of the project – Hilton is partnering with developer SEFAMM (TCI) Ltd to make this happen – there will also be 1-4 bedroom residences.

The resort will be situated right on the popular (and gorgeous) Grace Bay Beach and will feature 170 guest rooms and suites.

2028 is still a ways out, and I don’t believe ground has broken yet, but there are some renderings of what the property will look like.

As far as amenities and entertainment, guests will be able to enjoy a spa, fitness center, game room, a kids club…and of course the beach. Dining-wise, there will be two restaurants – a beachfront establishment and a Japanese restaurant (could be a sneakily good option for some lighter fare, right along the water).

Turks and Caicos have been quietly putting together a solid roster of high-end hotels, in sort of a ‘post-hype’ way. There’ve been high-profile announcements/and openings, but on touristy Grace Bay and elsewhere. Marriott recently debuted its Luxury Collection property – Salterra, SLH opened South Bank, Aman will bring in its Janu brand in a few years, Hyatt’s getting in the game with the Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, and Kempinski will open a location as well. Hilton will also open a Waldorf Astoria in Turks and Caicos, so the news of this LXR represents a solid ‘doubling-down’ by Hilton in the market.

Hilton’s making a concerted effort to grow the LXR Hotel & Resorts brand. Recently, Hilton announced an LXR project in Santorini as well as one in Morocco. Earlier this year, Hilton opened the Hotel Sax in Paris, as part of its LXR Hotels & Resorts.
