tl;dr – If you’re in Tokyo, you can check out the new seat without even flying business class.
ANA will debut its new “The Room FX” new business class seat this summer, but if you happen to be in Japan this March you won’t need to wait until then to get a feel for the experience.

As reported by TRAICY, “THE Room FX” will be showcased March 12-14 in Tokyo. Here’s the schedule:
- March 12 – 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- March 12 – 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- March 14 – 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
You’ll be able to find this The Room FX on ANA’s new Boeing 787-9 planes. The Room FX promises Safran Seats, a wider 24-inch in-flight entertainment monitor, wireless charging, USB-C/A power outlets, AC power outlets, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Additionally, the cabin itself features a more modern design in a 1-2-1 format, where the private suite doors and walls feature a more thoughtful space enhancing design, and the seats themselves alternate facing forward and backward through the cabin.

I couldn’t find a link to book a reservation for the event, which takes place at The Atrium, but you will need to make one if you plan on checking it out.
