tl;dr – A solid addition to Marriott’s growing luxury soft brand.
Late last year, Marriott quietly added a second Luxury Collection property in South Korea’s capital. L’Escape Hotel in Seoul officially joined the Luxury Collection on December 28, 2025, joining the Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Gangnam as the second property in the city. I’m a big fan of Marriott’s Luxury Collection hotels as I appreciate the ability to receive recognized elite benefits at upscale non-cookie cutter properties.

Let’s take a peek:
L’Escape, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Myeongdong
Boasting 204 keys, the L’Escape Hotel is a marquee property in Seoul’s Myeongdong district.

There’s property seems to have a upscale-Knives-Out type of vibe:

The hotel has quite a solid dining situation. There’s Michelin-starred L’Amant Secret. Palais de Chine and Marque d’Amour – a World’s 50 Best bar – are both well regarded as well.

For amenities, there’s the Swiss Perfection Spa and a fitness center.

The lowest available rate at the L’Escape Hotel will run you 294500 South Korean won, or just under $200. Points rates bottom out at 52,000 points per night.
