Hyatt has rolled out a slew of offers where targeted members can receive a Category 1-4 Free Night Award after completing some minimum activity. According to several members who have received emails, the offers typically require some members to stay either 3 or 4 nights within 90 days.
We’ve seen similar offers from Hyatt in the past, and they typically sound something like this: “Here’s an exclusive offer, just for you, earn a Category 1-4 Free Night Award if you stay 4 nights before X.”
Though I worry about the utility of Category 1-4 awards going forward with Hyatt’s impending changes to its award chart, a Free Night Award is not a bad get, particularly if you have a plan for (or can easily manufacture) four low-cost nights in the next 90 days.
