Marriott International, the world’s largest hotel chain by revenue and number of rooms, crossed a major milestone with the introduction of its 10000th property, the JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa. Here are some words from Marriott CEO Anthony Capuano:
The property puts guests close to Ranthambore National Park – “one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India. Once considered one of the famous former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, the Ranthambore National Park today is a major wildlife tourist attraction that has drawn the attention of many wildlife lovers.

Famed for its Royal Bengal Tigers, of which it boasts many, Ranthambore National Park is just about 18 minutes away from the JW Marriott.

The JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa features 127 accommodations, including private villas. “On property, guests can reconnect with nature and experience elevated dining through a range of diverse dining experiences, from modern Indian cuisine and regional specialties to locally inspired botanical cocktails.




The JW Marriott brand has also been an entry point for Marriott’s African safari properties. Marriott, among the major chains, has been a leader in points properties where you can safari.

I haven’t made my way out to Ranthambore yet, but perhaps this will be my impetus for doing so. I do like tigers!
