tl;dr – At this point, which luxury hotel brand DOESN’T have a yacht?
Earlier this week, I wrote about trouble in (watery) paradise for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, as the venture’s early financial picture is not a good one. It appears that Hilton feels it can do a little better as the chain recently announced plans to join the luxury cruising landscape, albeit at a much smaller scale. In 2026, Hilton will launch the Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience, a new yacht product that will transport guests between the two Egyptian cities of Aswan and Luxor on four- or six-night itineraries. The yacht will travel between Aswan to Luxor, cruising through the Valley of the Kings, with visits to cultural attractions in Esna, Edfu, and Kom Ombo, as well.
The Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience features five decks and 29 suites, each providing a sophisticated and refined haven with breathtaking views.’ Onboard guests can enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness center and a spa, as well as a rooftop deck for lounging and socializing.
As this is a Waldorf Astoria, there will also be the signature Peacock Alley, a “brasserie serving Egyptian, Mediterranean and international cuisine.”
I’m not surprised Hilton has joined in on the parade, after all, many luxury hotel chains are attempting to extend their real or perceived brand recognition to an adjacent revenue stream.

As for specifics on the vessel in question, there’s not much information available, but I’ll be sure to follow up with updates as they become available. We’ll see if this ship sets sail on schedule!
