tl;dr – Another big-name brand for the Indianapolis luxury hotel scene.
Developers recently broke ground on a new Ritz-Carlton property in Indianapolis, Indiana. The hotel, which is part of a $3 billion tourism push for the Midwest city, will be one part of a large mixed-use development that, in addition to Marriott, includes investment from players like Live Nation.

The hotel, which is expected to open in 2028, will have 176 rooms, which will include a healthy amount of suites – 30 executive suites, two deluxe/hospitality suites, and a Ritz-Carlton suite. Guests will be able to enjoy a state of the art fitness center and spa and a private lounge. Though there aren’t details on it just yet, “an upscale restaurant” is expected, and of course, there will be a lobby bar, as well as a standard full-service restaurant.
Notably, and helpful for those rough Midwest winters, a third-floor pedestrian bridge will connect the hotel to Gainbridge Fieldhouse – so guests who are in town to watch the Fever, Pacers or any other planned events won’t need to brave the cold.

Recently, Hilton announced plans to bring its Signia brand to Indianapolis, which, when it debuts, will be the tallest hotel in the city.
