tl;dr – Representing PDX!
Priority Pass recently announced its Priority Pass Excellence Awards 2026, and the big winner was Portland International Airport’s “Escape Lounge.”
The awards are bestowed based upon user review and member ratings and which were high enough to give PDX’s Escape Lounge the Global Lounge of the Year distinction.
I’ve never visited this lounge, but a quick search on Google does reveal that it’s highly rated. Reviews repeatedly champion the food and service.
In the event you aren’t a Priority Pass member, you can visit the lounge for $40.00 if you book in advance or pay the walk-up price of $45.00.
The lounge also took home of the crown in the ‘Best of North America’ category. In Europe, a lounge that I have been too – the Vienna Lounge took the regional gold. The Escape Lounge PDX is open from Mon – Sun, 4.30am – 12am.
