tl;dr – Great options for next staycation or burn to pass a few hours.
Day passes to hotels and resorts can be quite versatile. They are great options for staycations – maybe you want to access a pool, spa, or other plus amenities that aren’t an option at home. Maybe you simply need a room to hold your belongings while you venture out to explore in between flights. They can even be savvy ways to save money while you’re already on a trip – stay somewhere more affordable and pick-and-choose your spots to pay a daily rate to enjoy another property. Whatever the need is there are a few companies that make it easy to book hotels and resorts on a daily basis:
ResortPass

ResortPass – This is probably the player folks are most familiar with. ResortPass has the biggest coverage, with options on several continents. Here’s a referral link for $20 off your first purchase. You can get some intriguing deals like the Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets, an All-Inclusive, Adults-Only Resort for Just $26.
Daypass

Daypass – This one is a bit less well-known, but Daypass’s footprint is growing. At the time of this writing, DayPass has coverage in 16 countries, led by 47 properties in Mexico, 26 in Spain, 12 in the Dominican Republic, and 11 in Colombia – the remaining 12 countries each have 7 properties or fewer. Daypass’s Mexico lineup has some very solid deals in particular. In Mexico, Daypass seems to market heavily to locals, and the pricing tends to be a good deal more affordable.
DAYUSE

Dayuse – Dayuse has market-leading coverage in Europe, so if your travels take you there, you may want to check Dayuse first. That said, Dayuse is elsewhere, despite it not being listed on the company’s website. For example, I was able to find the above-pictured property on Dayuse properties in Brazil!
Be sure to refer back to this post when you’re in need of a hotel room for a day and here’s that ResortPass referral link again.
