Though I travel internationally all the time, I’ve yet to jump into the eSIM game. This latest merchant offer from Chase may change that. Through May 28, 2025, you can receive 18% (up to $25) cash back on your purchase of an Airalo eSIM.
If you’re unfamiliar with eSIMs, they allow for data-roaming coverage (in Airalo’s case, in over 200 countries), allowing you to browse and use apps on your phone while abroad. In some areas, text and calling are also available on plans.
Airalo offers a range of plans at different costs, so you can likely use this offer to save money on a plan that will last multiple trips, particularly if you only use the service for things like hailing an Uber (or other rideshare). The costs of Airalo eSIM plans differ based upon the type of connectivity you desire (data vs. data/text/calling), consumption amount (plans go as high as 20GB), plan length (the longest plan lasts 365 days).
I received this offer for my Chase Sapphire Preferred, but not for my other Chase cards, so it could be targeted. The offer expires on May 28, 2025.
