tl;dr – Yikes. How does this even happen?
A few weeks (months?) ago, news circulated that a man in China had checked out of a hotel room after two years and just vanished. Evidently, the man was obsessed with video games and warded himself off into a hotel room so he could play them (presumably) unbothered until he had his fill. For subsidence, he relied on food deliveries. After two years of living in the room, this was the state he left the room in:
I’m not sure how this even happens at a hotel. There had to have been some crazy smells coming from other prompting, at the minimum, if not outright eviction.
